Coronavirus: Another Two Nigerian Governors Test Negative

Amid the fear of contact with President Buhari chief of staff, Abba Kyari, who has been tested positive for the deadly virus the governor of Ondo State Arakunrin Akeredolu and his conterpact from Edo state Goodwin Obaseki have both been tested negative.

Edo state State gone on an isolation since yesterday when he received the news of Abba Kyari been positive.

Abba Kyari was tested positive for the Coronavirus having been to Germany on an official assignment on March 7 and returned on March 14. Kyari later went on to IGP, Muhammed Adamu’s daughter wedding in Nasarawa State.

Nigeria has recorded 51 cases of the virus with two discharged and recorded one death.

The flash points of the virus in Nigeria are Lagos, Abuja, Ogun, Bauchi, Ekiti, Oyo, Edo, and new case in Rivers State.

Bauchi governor, Bala Mohammed was tested positive for the virus having gone in contact with the son of former vice President and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who was also tested positive on Tuesday.

Globally, the virus has killed more than 21,000 with over 400,000 been infected too. Italy, Spain and China top the list of countries affected most.
