Coronavirus Lockdown: Increase Stipends For Poor Nigerians – Tinubu Begs FG

As the world keep battling the Coronavirus pandemic that has struck virtually all Countries in the since since January in which Nigeria like other nations has declared a total lockdown sit at home for everyone to curtail the spread of the virus.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) National leader, Ashiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has called on the Federal government to increase the stipends to the poor Nigerians and also increase the number of the vulnerable.
Recall that the government of President Buhari started a conditional cash transfer of N20,000 to the vulnerable Nigerians amid the lockdown the Coronavirus pandemic has subjected everyone to.
The Jagaban of Borgu added that government should try to support the schools when they reopen by supporting them to reduce the school fees of indigent families.
He went further to say that government should also help in cutting water and electricity bills.
Coronavirus pandemic has caused more than half of two millions globally with more than 107,000 deaths in which the United States of America topping the death and infections chart.
Nigeria has recorded more than 300 cases with 10 deaths and 44 discharged after testing negative and among the prominent Nigerians tested Positive are Governor El-Rufai of Kaduna state, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Governor Bala Muhammed of Bauchi, Son of Former vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar.
