Coronavirus: Nigerian Senator Donates 120 Generators To Traditional Rulers For Sensitization

As the deadly Coronavirus keeps hitting more nations in the world, a Senator in the Nigeria 9th Assembly, Senator Tanko Al-Makura, has distributed 120 generator sets to the traditional rulers of his Constituency in Nasarawa state.

The former governor who also represent Nasarawa south in the Red chamber of the 9th assembly, on Sunday, March 1, 2020, said he is distributing the generators to the Monarch in order to help in sensitizing their subjects on the deadly Coronavirus.

Last week, the deadly disease was discovered in Lagos and Ogun State by a man from Italy who works in Nigeria and he was tested positive. He was quarantined and over 20 Nigerians who had made contact with him have also been isolated.

Tanko Al-Makura, said the generator sets is mainly for the second and third class Kings whose there community lack electricity and this will help in sensitizing their subjects on what and how to have a preventive measure for the virus.

Coronavirus, fondly called COVID-19, was first discovered in Wuhan, China and this deadly virus has caused the death of over 2000 People in the world.
