COVID-19: Afe Babalola Donates N100m, 800 Bags Of Rice To Ekiti

Amid the Coronavirus pandemic that has ravage the globe for the past few months which eventually clocks 100 days yesterday and in which the lockdown sit at home has caused many citizens of the world.
Ekiti State Covid-19 Response Committee headed by Former minister of health and founder of Juli-Pharmacy, Ado Ekiti in which the Founder of the Afe Babalola is the ground patron.
Are Bamofin Afe Babalola has donated N100m and 800 bags of rice to Ekiti Banks to serve as a relief in the state.
Governor Fayemi disclosed this Friday April 10, 2020 on his official verified Twitter account and he wrote “our dear Grand patron to Ekiti Covid-19 Response Committee has set the ball rolling with a whooping sum of N100m with 800 bags of rice to the Food Bank”.
Recall that Fayemi set up a 47-member committee on Coronavirus pandemic in Ekiti State last week to alleviate the suffering of Ekiti citizens during the lock down in which the former governors: Fayose, Adebayo and Segun Oni were also members of the committee.
Ekiti State has recorded two cases of the Novel Coronavirus since it first broke out in Nigeria February 27.
In total, Nigeria case of Coronavirus is 274 with 5 deaths and more than 40 Patients have been discharged so far.
