COVID-19: Brazil’s 1982 World Cup Team Reunite To Fight Coronavirus

Amid the Coronavirus t that has been ravaging the globe for the past three months which eventually broke out in Wuhan China, the Brazilian team of 1982 to the FIFA World in West Germany has reunited together to raise funds in fighting the Novel Coronavirus.

The Team come together to rally help and support for the country’s pandemic that has caused more than 100,000 cases with more than 3,000.

In a video message lead by Paulo Falcao and 19 other players which include Zico, Junior and host of others called for the donations among the remaining players.

Paulo Falcao said the team has raised $500,000 in less than a week for the initiative. The former AS Roma Midfielder said they need every hands on deck to make this work.

Brazil has also become one of the epicenter of the deadly virus in the South America nation.

The virus has caused more than 100,000 death globally with over 1.6m infections.
