COVID-19: Didier Drogba Offers Hospital To Fight Coronavirus

As the world battle the Coronavirus pandemic that has grounded the activities of every countries in the globe, former Chelsea Striker Didier Drogba has offered his Laurent Pokou Hospital in Ivory Coast to fight the deadly virus.

Didier Drogba Offers the hospital in the fight against the deadly virus as his contribution in his home country which has recorded 533 cases with just four deaths so far.

Drogba’s hospital, Laurent Pokou was named in honour of the Ivorian football legend who played for the senior team between 1967 and 1980 with 70 appearance for the Ivorians.

Laurent Pokou also plight his football career in Europe with Stade Rennes of France. The management of City’s regional council headed by Vincent Toh Bi thanked Drogba for his kind gesture towards providing relief and assistance to the Government when the need be.

The head of Drogba Foundation Mariam Breka made the disclosure. Laurent Pokou Hospital is located in the country’s capital caity of Abidjan.

Didier Drogba came into limelight when he was at Chelsea Football Club of England where he won three premier league under Jose Mourinho and he also won the prestigious European trophy, Champions League under Di Mateo.

Drogba made 105 appearances for the Ivory Coast senior team with 65 goals to his name during his time.
