Dethroned Emir Sanusi Moved Out Of Nasarawa Town

Deposed Kano Emir Muhammad Sanusi II has been relocated to another town by the Nasarawa State Government.

He was taken to Loko town on Monday just hours after he was dethroned by the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje The banished Emir’s relocation was carried out in an helicopter amid tight security from the men of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) among others.

There had been no official word on why he was relocated to the new town of Awe.

Recall that the former central Bank of Nigeria governor, Sanusi Lamido, was Dethroned by governor Abdullahi Ganduje administration over what the state government termed as disrespectful of the Dethroned Emir to the government of the state.

Emir Sanusi is the second Emir from Kano State to be banished from the throne after his grandparent was also banished by Sadauna in 1963.
