Ex-BBNaija housemate, Tacha, has called out those criticising Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers, for the way he honoured Burna Boy over his recent Grammy win.

Wike hosted the ‘twice as tall’ crooner at Port Harcourt, the state capital, on Saturday, and organised a homecoming concert in his honour. At the concert, he had announced N10 million cash gift each to the ‘Ye’ singer and all other musicians that performed at the event.

But in a video on her Twitter page on Sunday, the reality TV star slammed those condemning the governor for gifting Burna Boy the cash gift.

Tacha argued that Burna Boy deserves to have a town in the state named after him as well as public holidays dedicated to celebrating his heroics at the 2021 Grammy Awards.

She added that the concert would help reawaken the entertainment landscape in the state, which according to her, is fast-becoming moribund
