N-Power: Nigerians Bash Buhari’s Minister Over Delay Of Stipends Amid Coronavirus Lockdown

Amid the Coronavirus pandemic that has ground all activities around the world and which has caused total lockdown virtually all the nations of the world.

Beneficiaries of the one of Federal government National Social Investment Program(NSIP), N-POWER have lamented the delay in their stipends of N30,000 per month since the program has been moved from the office of the Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo to the newly created ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development under the tutulage of Hajiya Farouk Sadiya.

Mrs Sadiya Farouk was appointed as the first minister of the Ministry by President Muhammadu Buhari last year August alongside other 42 ministers.

The Beneficiaries lamented bitterly that things have gone wrong from frying pot to fire since she took over the ministry. The National Social Investment Program (NSIP) under Sadiya Farouq include N-Power, School feeding Program for the primary schools in the nation, conditional cash transfer to the vulnerable.

@seyiola23, you shouldn’t be tweeting at this critical hour of lockdown when you are suffering you N-Power beneficiaries.
