N-Power: No Ghost Workers Among Beneficiaries, Says Osinbajo’s Aide

The senior special assistant on Job creation and Youth Empowerment to the vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede, has on Thursday March 5 apologies for the delay in the payment of N-Power Beneficiaries in the recent months.
Mr Afolabi why addressing Nigerians through Facebook chat on 4th of March said the delay was part of clean up in the ministry of humanitarian and Natural disasters headed by Ms Sadiya Farouq to know the importance of the program to Nigerians.
He further stressed that there are no ghost workers among the beneficiaries throughout the country. He said those workers are the language erroneously used for the Beneficiaries who abscond their place of primary assignment.
Recall that N-Power is one of the National Sociy Investment Program(N-SIP) initiated by Buhari administration in his first term in office.
The program had cater for 500,000 Nigerians who are unemployed graduates and another thousands of Nigerians who are non-gradute.
Npower is divided into N-TEACH, N-HEALTH, N-AGRO.
