Juventus left Gianluca Frabotta, Nicolò Fagioli and Alessandro Di Pardo out of today’s friendly with Cesena due to disciplinary reasons.
Max Allegri had his first game since returning to Turin in a test with Cesena at the Continassa training ground.
The coach has always been a strict disciplinarian and confirmed it yet again by freezing out three players.
It’s reported Frabotta, Fagioli and Di Pardo were punished for turning up late to training, so weren’t even on the bench for this game.
Also absent were injured Paulo Dybala – who sat on the side of the pitch watching his teammates – and not fully fit Luca Pellegrini.
Frabotta is a 22-year-old left-back who is widely expected to join Atalanta this summer, having impressed at Juve with 18 games, one goal and one assist.
Di Pardo is a 22-year-old midfielder with five senior appearances for Juventus.
As for Fagioli, the creative midfielder is only 20 and played just two matches for the main Bianconeri squad.
