African Nationals are becoming a global players to recon with these days in European football.
The latest of these is a Tanzanian player, Mbwana Samatta, who made history today as the first Tanzanian player to score in three different games.
Mbwana Samatta gained the world recognition when he becomes the first Tanzanian player to feature in the prestigious Uefa Champions League and also becomes first Tanzanian to score in the Champions League. He wrote his name in the history book when he scored Genk second goal against Salzburg, on September 17, 2019, in a game that ended 6 goals to 2.
As if he will not stop there, the 27-year-old Tanzanian went on to score on his debut for Aston Villa in the English premier league game on February 1,2020.
Mbwana Samatta latest feats come on March 1, 2020 when he scored in the League cup final between Aston Villa and Manchester City at the Wembley stadium in the 41 minutes in which Aston Villa eventually lost to Pep Guardiola men.
